Custom Aluminum French Casement Windows

Black grid lines frame the view in this design, with an opening casement alongside fixed glazing. Both non-thermal-break and thermally broken aluminum configurations can be discussed for the same style.

For designers and homeowners planning a custom project. Discuss either frame structure without changing the style you prefer.

DESIGN DETAILS

Classic grids, a planned opening

A French casement window combines a framed view with a defined opening leaf. Grids can echo the proportions of the room, while fixed and operable sections organize how the window is used. Plan hinge sides, handle reach and furniture clearance before the layout is finalized.

  • Mark fixed and operable sections on your drawing, including hinge sides and opening direction.
  • Provide opening width, height and wall depth in inches or millimeters; label the units clearly.
  • Review handle access, screens, cleaning and any required emergency escape opening with your project team.

MADE FOR YOUR PROJECT

Make the details your own.

Start with the look you like, then confirm the dimensions, frame, glazing and hardware together. Available details depend on the chosen construction and project requirements.

Dimensions & proportions
Provide opening width, height, wall depth and quantity, with units. Grid spacing and panel layout are reviewed against the actual opening before production.
Glazing & privacy
Tell us how the space is used, the privacy you need and any safety or energy requirements. Confirm the available glass build-up and documents for the proposed assembly.
Opening & hardware
Review the opening direction, handle position, locking and access for cleaning. Hardware and any screens must be confirmed for the final dimensions and opening type.
Finish & color
Choose from the 26 color references below. Confirm a physical sample, surface texture and the finish specification before approving production.

ONE STYLE · TWO FRAME OPTIONS

Choose the frame, keep the design.

Each style is available with non-thermal-break or thermally broken aluminum. Final profiles, dimensions and details are confirmed for your selected configuration; appearance alone does not identify the internal frame structure.

Non-Thermal-Break Aluminum

An aluminum frame without an insulating thermal-break separator. Discuss the intended location and project requirements before selecting it.

Thermally Broken Aluminum

An aluminum frame incorporating an insulating separator between metal sections. The structural choice alone does not establish tested energy performance or project approval.

Not sure which to choose? Send your project location and requirements so we can discuss the options before quoting.

26 COLOR OPTIONS

A considered palette, from soft neutrals to expressive greens and deep tones.

Screen colors are approximate, based on a photographed color card. Lighting and displays affect appearance. Confirm the final color and texture with a physical sample; names are descriptive, not standardized color codes.

DIY glass customization

Share a texture, pattern or reference image you like. We will review a feasible custom glass design with you. Thickness, processing and compatibility with the chosen door or window depend on the final confirmed specification.

Images are texture illustrations only; the actual appearance is subject to the physical sample. Lighting and screens affect the appearance. These images are not safety or performance ratings. The listed thickness refers to the catalog sample, not every available assembly. Confirm a physical sample and the final glass specification before ordering.

FAQs

Questions before you order

Can fixed glass and opening casements be combined?

Yes, the reference combines these functions. Mark fixed and opening sections on the elevation, together with hinge sides and opening direction. Confirm the final profile and glass configuration for the actual size.

Can I choose thermal-break or non-thermal-break aluminum?

Yes. Both frame structures can be discussed for this style. Confirm the final profiles and glazing together; a thermal break alone does not establish a tested energy rating.

Are the displayed colors exact?

No. They are approximate references from a photographed card. Request and approve a physical sample, including its texture, before confirming the finish.

What is needed for a quotation?

Send the opening sizes and units, quantity, photos or drawings, frame preference and destination. Final price, lead time and delivery scope are confirmed in the quotation.

Does the product already have certified performance ratings?

Product test reports are not currently available. Do not assume certified energy, acoustic, wind or impact ratings. Ask your project team to review required local documents before ordering.
